It’s over
After ten wonderful years, it has come to an end.
Due to school, I will no longer be dancing at The Hudson Dance Center
It feels very werid to think about
I’ve been there since I was 9…
I’m not giving up on dancing
But I started dancing there.
It’s been a fun ride I will always remember,

Yes, I debated on joining the blog world. But hey, I love to write so might as well do something related.
Sooooo my name is Kelsey, I was supposed to be called Sammy-Jo(thanks mom) but thankfully my dad saved my existance and would not have a daugther that was named after an character from a 80′s t.v. show called Dynasty. What my mom was thinking, beats me! I’m a winter baby, even though summer has always been my fav season. I was born a brunette but turned blonde and never went back since. I was a happy baby who always loved to play and have fun. I guess things don’t change much:)
I’ve lived in a small town all my life where the hangouts for people my age or older are either Cunninghams, The Chat or The Hudson Yacht Club, p.s. they all have bars. Typical:) It may seem like my town is waaaay full of drunks but my town is also a very family friendly area. I find it’s a great town to raise kids, I’ve sure had alot of good memories when I was a youngin. Now either people my age move to Ste Annes or downtown or if you look at it the harsh way, stay with thier parents till theyre 30 or become a hobo. My goal is to move out after college if you ask me.
Speaking of college, it’s SO much better than highschool. Preferably, because i’m taking a drama progamn which I looooove and there is not alot of bullshit fights. Yes, I’m a theater girl who hates drama outside the stage. It’s my first year of college, I was supposed to be a second year but math and french got in the way so I busted my ass for a year and TADA! ”We accept you into John Abbott College” Oh yeah, I jumped up and down like a lunatic. Ever since I could remember, I’ve loved singing and dancing all my life. I tried ballet when I was 5, but since I’m a mover and shaker it was not to my taste. After four years, I gave a Jazz Ballet class at my town a try…ten years later I’m still here. Sadly, this wil also be my last year. My theater progamn is intense when it comes into showtime and I had to miss about 7 classes which is cructial since I’m in the highest class. This won’t stop me from dancing though, even though I will miss my classes dearly:(
I’ve also loved acting, playing someone else is thrilling to me. I always put on shows for my family when I was younger but when my ”too cool for that” stage(i.e. 13) came along, I stopped. In Grade 10, my school was putting on “Grease”. Deep down, I really wanted to be Sandy but I was too shy. Thankfully, my friends pushed me to sign up(really) and I gave it a try. After a week, results were in. I remember taking the acceptance paper and vying with anticipation. ”Sandy”. I yelled at the top of my lungs.
”Grease” was such a good experince and a great way for my love of acting to be reborn. The next year I had a smaller role in ”Get Smart” which I will remember forever as being such a fun play to do because the cast got along so well. Two years later, I would be on the stage again doing ”Kiss Me Kate” on the John Abott Theater stage being part of the chrous which was such an different but awesome experince! I will for sure go back to Theater Workshop next year, the progamn rocks and the fellow students are amazing:)
I love writing lyrics and poetry, it calms me whenever im angry and it makes me happy whenever i’m in a good mood. It’s like therapy to me:)
What I’ve just told you are my passions in my life. Now snippets of me as a person.
I’m very friendly and I’m outgoing. I’ll introduce myself to you if we’re with friends and I don’t know you. I tend to get along with alot of people. I tend to see things on the bright side but I’m realistic. I’m also stubborn, if i say no it is no and nothing will change my mind. I need to listen to music everyday or it is just too werid. If you ever need someone to talk to, I’m your women to listen and help. I can be a girly girl but I can also laugh at guy humour, so i’m half/half. Sometimes I’ll keep things in but if I want to say something what’s on my mind, I’ll say it. It takes me alot to get angry and when I am, according to friends it’s not a side of me to see so dont piss me off. I’m creative and don’t care if I act silly. I tend to have a loud laugh, which I use alot. I’m a book nerd. I lose stuff easily which I NEED to work on. I have a very sweet tooth for anything chocolate. My fav television shows are Gossip Girl, Glee and The Vampire Diaries. I love going out and having a good time but I’ve calmed down on the party girl scene by not drinking everytime. I love fashion. I’m picky about my hair and boys(yes,i admit it)I believe everything happens for a reason and without my family and friends, I would be lost.
So what has been going on in my life lately? Well me and my fantastic friend Andrew are going to create a band named Vintage In Waiting or the band name was going to be a radomn word we found from ”Urban Dictonary” such as ”Vintage Cunt”…yeah no. Alot of people know I can sing but alot of people also do not, I always wanted to pursue more with my writing and musicness so starting a band could be a good way to express:) Other things? Well I want school to be over, it’s getting boring and i’m just yearning for the summer sun. I want my summer job now so I can be fucking rich and blow cash money like Sean Diddy or whatever he calls himself now(or you know, saving up would be nice.) But hence I have to wait till June for my waitressing job at the HYC and wait for a call from The Willow next week. I’m so excited because tomorrow i’m getting new clothes, which you can never have enough of annnnnnnd it is my dear friend Leila’s birthday!
Well it’s 11 and im tired, due to me going to school from 8:30-10 for gym on fridays. Will I write another blog? Only time will tell;)
